Labcon har fokuseret p\u00e5 milj\u00f8 siden 1990, hvor de satte et m\u00e5l om at v\u00e6re gr\u00f8n i en verden af plastik. I 2004 flyttede Labcon til deres nuv\u00e6rende og milj\u00f8venlige faciliteter i Petaluma, hvor 90 % deres produkter i dag fremstilles, samles og pakkes.<\/p>\n

De steriliserer p\u00e5 eget anl\u00e6g kun 500 meter v\u00e6k, der ogs\u00e5 huser Labcons lager og distributionscenter. Labcon har fokus p\u00e5 at begr\u00e6nse deres leverand\u00f8rer til en radius p\u00e5 200 kilometer omkring Petaluma. Gennem hele produktionen har Labcon fokus p\u00e5 milj\u00f8 og milj\u00f8forbedringer. De har installeret 870 kW solcelleanl\u00e6g, der bidrager med 30% str\u00f8m til deres energiforbrug. De har installeret et vandk\u00f8lingssystem, der b\u00e5de genbruger vand til produktion og samtidig forhindrer kemikalier i at udledes. <\/p>\r\n

Produktionen af h\u00f8j-kvalitetsprodukter foreg\u00e5r p\u00e5 avancerede st\u00f8bemaskiner med 9 gange \u00f8get produktionseffektivitet og med 60% reduceret energiforbrug.
