Labcon ViewPoint\u00ae centrifuge tubes provide an easy overview of the real temperature of the samples in the centrifuge tubes when working with samples in the lab or when samples are transferred for storage. The temperature can be visually seen on the ViewPoint centrifuge tubes using different colours. The colour of the tubes changes from transparent to light blue at a temperature of 4\u00b0C and the colour of the tube changes again to dark blue when the temperature of the contents in the tube is 0\u00b0C and below.<\/p>\n

The visible temperature of the samples helps to keep better control during work and can help to improve processing times.<\/p>\n

Labcon ViewPoint\u00ae centrifuge tubes have many advantages<\/h3>\n

The temperature-indicating centrifuge tubes with conical bottom can be centrifuged (RCF) up to 12,500 x G. They have easy-to-read black graduations and inverted scale. The tubes have good labelling possibilities as they have a large white writing field with a patented anti-smudge surface. Labcon’s centrifuge tubes are made of polystyrene from high-quality, non-cytotoxic medical resin. The centrifuge tubes are sterile, autoclavable, certified free of ATP, RNase, DNase, DNA\/RNA and pyrogen and can be frozen to -80\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

The tubes have a flat cap that also allows for easy labelling. The cap is green and is made of polyethylene. The cap is easily closed by turning it \u00be turn, at which point the centrifuge tube will be evaporation-proof. If the cap is screwed on another \u00bc turn, the centrifuge tube will be 100% tight and leak-proof.<\/p>\n

The simple and streamlined design allows the cap to be screwed on or off the centrifuge tube (evaporation-proof) with just \u00be turn. This means that the cap can be screwed on in one movement, which means that the user puts significantly less strain on the wrist than if the cap had to be twisted twice. This helps to avoid strain injuries in the long term.<\/p>\n

The tubes are Sperm Motility Assay (SMA) and Mouse Embryo Assay (MEA) validated, making them safe for use in cell culture.<\/p>\n

Labcon ViewPoint centrifuge tubes are developed in Labcon’s own in-house laboratory and tested in external professional laboratories, where the tubes are tested for use in most common centrifugation tasks.<\/p>\n

All sterile products from Labcon are packaged in medical packaging and radiation sterilised according to a validated ISO 11137 method to a sterility assurance level of 10-6. Validated sterilisation ISO 11137 makes the centrifuge tubes ideal for use in research and medical laboratories.<\/p>\n
