The cryo boxes 25 ml are an ideal and versatile solution for easy handling of centrifuge tubes. The boxes can be used for many different purposes and throughout the workflow. In addition to being used for sample organisation, transport box and work rack, the boxes can also be moved from a workstation directly to a -90°C cold freezer. Due to the flexible yet robust polypropylene, these centrifuge boxes are extremely durable and have a long lifespan.
The freezer boxes have a transparent lid with numerical grid and coloured or transparent bottom. The bottom is stocked in different colours so it is easy to identify the different samples at all times. The boxes are made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) and can withstand temperatures as low as -90°C and up to +121°C, making them autoclavable.
The cryo boxes have 9 holes with 3 x 3 divisions and measure 92 mm in height and fit pipes up to Ø 30 mm. The boxes fit all common types of freezer racks on the market. The cryo boxes, also called centrifuge boxes, also have a click-lock closure to ensure the lid fits perfectly and are equipped with air holes for drainage, which also helps to ensure faster freezing. The 3 x 3 dividers for the centrifuge boxes are included.
