Petri dishes in glass

Glass petri dishes can be reused after washing and sterilisation. They are resistant to chemicals.

See specifications further below.

Petri dishes in glass

The round petri dishes are made of clear borosilicate glass 3.3. They can be reused repeatedly as they are autoclavable. By using glass Petri dishes, you reduce the use of plastic in the lab. They are perfect for cultivating bacteria, moulds and other microorganisms as well as for observing seed germination and chemical experiments. The clarity of the glass makes it easy to observe changes in your samples.

The glass petri dish is supplied with a lid to minimise the risk of contamination from airborne particles that can negatively affect bacterial cultures. The glass’s high chemical resistance and ability to withstand repeated autoclaving makes this petri dish ideal for laboratory use where reliability is crucial.
