Cryo boxes 10×10 are high-quality, durable boxes for storing cryo tubes. The boxes are designed for quick and easy everyday handling and fit most standard racks. The cryo boxes have a click-lock closure and transparent lids with an alphanumeric overview. The lid of the box also has an angled corner to guarantee correct application of the lid so that the sample identification overview is facing correctly. The bottom half of the box is available in 5 different colours, making it easy to identify the different samples.
The boxes are made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) and can withstand temperatures as low as -90°C, they are internally tested to withstand temperatures down to -150°C. The cryoboxes are autoclavable.
When you switch from the standard 9×9 boxes, with room for 81 cryotubes, to the space-saving 10×10 solution, the type of cryotubes used is essential. To fit 100 cryotubes in a 130×130 mm box, the cryotubes need to be slim. We recommend our specially designed MAXXLINE cryotubes with external thread and a diameter of only 12 mm.
