Black hinged lid cryoboxes are designed specifically with light-sensitive sample storage in mind. The coloured polypropylene compound creates an opaque barrier that prevents light from causing reactions in the liquid in the stored cryotubes, making the coloured cryo boxes ideal for storing photosensitive samples.
Unlike cryo boxes in other colours, the black boxes are completely opaque and protect even the most light-sensitive samples.
Cryoboxes with hinged lid
The cryoboxes are all 10×10 compartmentalised and have an external dimension of 130×130 mm, making them suitable for most standard racks. The cryoboxes come in two different heights; 50 and 55 mm to fit 1.0 and 2.0 ml cryotubes. The cryoboxes are made of high quality, durable polypropylene (PP).
