Cryo boxes in PC 52 mm are high-quality, heavy-duty cryoboxes for storing 1.0 ml and 2.0 ml tubes. The boxes, also known as freezer boxes, are made of an extra strong, high-quality polycarbonate (PC) and can withstand temperatures as low as -196°C and as high as +121°C on a large scale. This allows the freezer boxes to be used in liquid nitrogen and they are autoclavable at 121°C.
The boxes are designed with a focus on ensuring quick and easy handling in everyday use, so they fit all common types of freezer racks on the market. All cryoboxes also have transparent lids with alphanumeric labelling, making it easy to identify individual samples. The freezer boxes have a coloured bottom in red or blue, but the bottom is also available in other colours.
The boxes are certified free of RNase/DNase, DNA and pyrogen.
