The CAPPRondo hotplate stirrer is equipped with a durable, nanocrystalline glass-ceramic top plate with efficient heating of liquids up to 20 litres. The CAPPRondo hotplate stirrer is flexible, as it offers a total of six heating modes, effectively doubling the number of heating modes from the previous model. This allows users of the hotplate stirrer to have better control over their heating and stirring procedures within a temperature range of 5-550°C with an accuracy of ±1°C. For extra thermal control, the stirrer comes with an ultra-sensitive temperature-sensing probe (with stand) and a safety temperature cut-out function (575°C).
A major advantage of the CAPPRondo hot plate stirrer is the switch to an IP 21-rated composite fibre housing, designed to withstand some of the harshest laboratory conditions. The hot plate stirrer’s composite fibre housing is chemically resistant and has an exceptionally low heat transfer rate. This means that the hot plate stirrer from CAPP has a long service life and high productivity. The compact design takes up very little space on the workbench.
The plate surface, made of robust nanocrystalline glass-ceramic, ensures complete resistance to liquid splashes or temperature shocks. The CAPPRondo stirrer with heating plate operates at a variable speed ranging from 200 to 2,200 rpm. The speed can be set in increments of 10 rpm, and the time can be programmed from 1 to 999 minutes or for continuous infinite operation.
The robust stirrer runs at a constant speed under varying loads. The brushless DC motor ensures long durability and high performance over many years of use. The stirrer has a large, user-friendly display that provides an easy overview of all parameters and ensures quick and easy operation. With this heated stirrer, the user can program up to 99 individual protocols and set the programmable pulse mode from 30 to 99 seconds.
Please note that to maximise the performance of your CAPPRondo heating stirrer, it is recommended to use CAPP’s original high-strength 25 mm Teflon-coated stirring magnet. Additional stirring magnets must be ordered separately.
