Pipette ball for serological pipettes is a 145 ml laboratory suction ball or rubber ball, which is a simple hollow rubber pipette ball with a hole in one end. It is squeezed over the rod pipette (the serological pipette) and the ball is compressed to suck up liquid with the pipette.
The red-brown pipette ball is made of cloroprene.
