The racks for microtubes 0.5 – 2.0 ml are robust, high-quality racks with space for 24 tubes. The white racks fit microtubes and culture tubes in sizes 0.5 ml, 1.0 ml, 1.5 ml, 1.7 ml, 1.8 ml and 2.0 ml. The holes are distributed in 4 rows with 6 holes in each row. Rows are slightly staggered, making it easier to access.
The rack is made of strong polypropylene with handles at each end for easy and safe handling. Each rack is moulded with a numerical grid for easy identification of tubes and a writing area on the side of the rack for easy labelling of samples.
Labcon racks for microtubes and culture tubes are good for the environment as they are recyclable and allow you to eliminate the use of styrofoam or cardboard racks. Labcon racks are autoclavable and can withstand freezing down to -80°C.
All Labcon resins are pre-tested for metal contamination. Racks are free of RNase and DNase as well as endotoxin and ATP.
