The actual mechanism that determines the volume for this pipette is located in the small removable volume knob on top of the pipette. CAPPTrio fixed-volume pipettes come with three fixed-volume knobs so you can easily switch from one fixed volume to another simply by removing the volume knob and placing another knob on the pipette. All CAPP fixed-volume pipettes are fully autoclavable, except for the removable volume knobs. The knobs are easily cleaned with commonly used detergents and disinfectants.
CAPPTrio fixed volume pipettes are available with different fixed volumes. In addition, each fixed volume pipette can easily be upgraded to a variable volume pipette by simply replacing the fixed volume button with a variable volume button.
