The 15 ml cryo boxes are an optimal and versatile solution for easy handling of centrifuge tubes. The boxes can be used for many different purposes and throughout the workflow. In addition to being used for organising samples, transport boxes and work racks, the cryo boxes can also be moved from a workstation directly to a -90°C cold freezer. Due to the flexible yet robust polypropylene, these freezer boxes are extremely durable and have a long lifespan.
The cryo boxes – also known as centrifuge boxes – have a transparent lid with numerical grid and coloured or transparent bottom. The bottom is stocked in five different colours so it is always easy to identify the different samples. The boxes are made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) and can withstand temperatures as low as -90°C and up to +121°C, making them autoclavable.
The boxes have 25 holes and are divided into 5 x 5 holes for 15 ml centrifuge tubes with a diameter up to 17 mm.
