The sterile filter tips, extra long, low retention, are ideal to use when pipetting in long sampling tubes. Measuring 89 mm in length, the pipette tips easily reach the bottom of a sampling tube.
All filter tips are made of medical grade polypropylene and certified free of RNase, DNase and human DNA. The tips have ultra-thin and uniform wall thickness to enable fast and efficient heat transfer from the entire contact surface of the tube, helping to reduce cycle times and increase yields.
The pipette tips are filtered, ensuring against cross-contamination in all liquid handling applications. The filter still allows air to pass through, but not any kind of aqueous solutions.
The very long low retention filter tips have ultra-smooth surfaces making them ideal for viscous material, as the optimised inner surface increases the separation of sample material, allowing even the smallest droplet to pass be released. The low retention tips provide high accuracy and reproducibility and maximise recovery of precious samples and will reduce waste of expensive reagents.
