Labcon ZAP Aerosol sterile filter tips are universal, sterile pipette tips of the highest quality that fit the most popular pipettes. The pipette tips have a filter, which protect against cross-contamination in all liquid handling applications.
ZAP Aerosol filter tips have a higher standard than regular filter pipette tips. Aerosol pipette tips provide complete protection against sample transfer that includes a patented filter made of high molecular weight polyethylene. The filters enable the pipette to suck by venting through a dense sponge-like transport pathway. The pores in this pathway have an average size of 10 µm, so that even radionucleotides are captured before they reach the pipette itself.
All ZAP™ pipette tip racks are packaged in our trademarked Teal or Purple rack. These racks are made of polypropylene and can be autoclaved repeatedly. They have robust locking hinges that will not fall apart as it is often seen with lower grades, and they have a specially designed snap lock so it will not tear a hole in your laboratory gloves.

ZAP Aerosol pipette tips are developed at Labcon’s own internal laboratory and tested in external professional laboratories, where the tips are tested for use in most common tasks.
All sterile products from Labcon are packed in medical packaging and are radiation sterilized according to a validated ISO 11137 method to a sterility assurance level of 10-6. Validated sterilization ISO 11137 makes the pipette tips ideal for use in research and medical laboratories.
