PCR tubes 0.2 ml are disposable tubes made of medical grade polypropylene. Starlab 0.2 ml PCR tubes with attached caps provide an optimal seal that minimises fluid loss through evaporation. Ultra-thin walls ensure efficient thermal transfer and maximum yield. The tubes are compatible with most thermal cyclers.

The caps on the tubes are easy to open and close and have a positive click when closing, ensuring that the tubes are completely closed. The caps also have a very tight closure that significantly reduces sample evaporation. The tubes can be used for preparing, mixing, centrifuging, transporting and storing solid and liquid samples and reagents. The PCR tubes are supplied in resealable bags to help minimise the risk of contamination.

The recommended centrifugation speeds are up to 3,000 RCF in a centrifuge where the tube is placed in a stand and up to 6,000 RPM in a fast centrifuge where the rotor holds the tubes securely in place.
