BetterBox™ is a smart polypropylene storage box for 81 × 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microtubes and cryotubes (9 × 9).
Fill the base with crushed ice or liquid and keep the samples cool directly in the box.
The coloured insert (middle layer) can be clicked out in a matter of seconds, giving you a stable ‘ice tray’ without the need for additional equipment.
The box is suitable for both snap-cap and screw-cap tubes. The robust hinge and secure locking clip ensure that the lid does not get lost, making the box ideal for intensive laboratory use. The front edge and the top of the lid feature integrated, matt writing fields for clear labelling, supplemented by black, alphanumeric positioning for quick identification of rows and columns.
BetterBox™ is available in five different insert colours with transparent lids and bases, so the contents are always visible. BetterBox™ is made from autoclavable, virgin polypropylene and can be frozen to −80 °C. Special corner feet engage with four grooves on the top of the lid, ensuring the boxes lock together, stack securely and are easy to transport between workstations.
Dimensions (W × L × H): 150 × 160 × 54 mm — a compact size that fits neatly on a table, in the freezer or on a trolley, making it easy to organise samples clearly and efficiently.
